INTEGRATIVE HOLISTIC NUTRITION COURSE (10 Hours)
This basic 10 Hour Nutrition course provides in-depth knowledge of healthful dietary practices and provides students with self care and assessment tools representing a merger of ancient East Asian teachings with modern health science and whole foods nutrition. Other topics covered include indications of nutritional deficiences, heavy metal toxicity, consideration of evolving vitamin and mineral requirements during development, and the means of best satisfying those requirements. SHIATSU FOUNDATIONAL PROGRAM (150 Hours)
Shiatsu is an ancient Japanese healing art form steeped in Taoism and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Shiatsu, translated as "finger pressure," dates back 5,000 years to the beginning of Chinese acupuncture. Shiatsu is often called "acupuncture without needles" because its simple manipulations and pressure are applied to the same meridians and points used in acupuncture. Similar to other Asian bodywork methods, Shiatsu is based on principles of Chinese medicine that emphasize the flow of energy (qi in Chinese, ki in Japanese) throughout the body's energetic pathways, or meridians. The shiatsu practitioner's goal is to promote the efficient and balanced flow of ki through applying deep stimulating pressure to the meridians.

AQUATIC INTEGRATION (162 Hours)
Aquatic Integration™ is a new approach to hydrotherapy which combines eastern meridian and point work with myofascial release, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation and breathwork. AI is highly effective in restoring sensory perception and motor control as well as increasing range of motion and reducing muscular spasticity and has proven a profoundly effective tool in pain management.

SPORTSTHERAPY WORKSHOP: The Meagher Method with Jo-Ann Wilson (12 Hours)
In the mid 1950’s Jack Meagher,a pioneeer in the field of massage therapy, coined the term sportsmassage, and under its umbrella combined a series of specific soft tissue applications based on anatomy physiology and muscular kinetics. The application of these techniques became known as the “Meagher method” of sportsmassage. This weekend workshop will introduce you to the Meagher Method of SportsTherapy.
