Professional Shiatsu Training Program
600 Hour Stand Alone or 150/150 For Licensed Health Care Practitioners

Namasté Institute is proud to announce its offering of Maine's only stand alone 600 Hour Shiatsu Practitioner Training Program. What does stand alone mean? Stand alone means that those interested in this training do not have to be a massage therapist in order to take the training. Qualified students who are interested in this program of study will receive a strong foundation in the sciences such as Kinesiology, Functional Anatomy, Neuroanatomy along with training in ethics, business and philosphy. And most importantly, students will receive 300 hours of hands on training in Shiatsu therapy alone!

Students begin their program of study within the Foundational Shiatsu level 1 program and then move into the Advanced Shiatsu Program for completion. Upon completion of the 600 Hour Program of Study student's are awarded a diploma as a Certified Shiatsu Practitioner. Please visit the Foundational and Advanced training links to read about course details. The course breakdown and hours are listed below. Licensed bodyworkers or those who have a strong background in the natural sciences can enroll in the 150 Foundational and Advanced course and do not need to take the additional courses listed below as.
