Sheena—Thank you for having the school. I have been so impressed with the quality of teaching and the material being taught. I have enjoyed our guest teachers—they all have brought so much to us, insight of what they know, passion for what they are doing and wisdom. Each one has been so approachable and has been great about sharing their journey so far and careful to explain that the journey of life and learning is ongoing—we never fully know everything. I am finally grasping the fact that I need to enjoy the journey and not strive so hard to reach the destination. Striving makes your focus too narrow and you miss too much along the way. I feel so grateful for being accepted into one of the greatest schools, with the most inspiring people that allowed me to be me and taught me about who I really am without ever saying a word. I feel unbelievably blessed in knowing that the person that I started school in September is not the person that I am walking out in June. I have this undying gratitude for each and everyone at Namasté Institute for allowing me to be me and holding my hand and handing me tissues and just accepting me for who I am and the person that I am going to be. Dearest Students—I feel the quiet repose and beauty of having had ten wonderful weeks in the care of your hands and massages. Monday to Monday, I've treasured the time to relax and enjoy the very special gift of touch each of you has given me. Sheena—As you well know the weekly massages have truly been a gift and something I could in no way financially afford. Thank you for including me as a participant in your clinics. You've grown (and are growing) quite a school. There's a special quality felt—very personal and intimate. Not like a "machine" pumping out graduates but a living experience for students and those like myself. Working at The Community School, the foundational working principle among staff and students is relationship. The principle of education there is "relational education."
