ADDITIONAL EXPENSES

STUDENT MALPRACTICE INSURANCE

Students in bodywork classes must be covered by Student Malpractice Insurance. This coverage is in effect during hands-on practice in the class room, during sessions on campus, and when fulfilling course requirements off campus. Student Malpractice Insurance is approximately $100 per year.

PROFESSIONAL SESSIONS REQUIREMENT

Students are required to receive four professional sessions in their field of study while enrolled. Prices for sessions vary from $50 to $100.

PROFESSIONAL EQUIPMENT

Students are required to purchase a Massage Table, Linens, Lotion/Oil, and Blood Pressure Cuff and Stethoscope before the start of their program. Professional Equipment Expenses range from $600 to $1,350 for the Holistic Massage Therapy Program, and Professional Equipment Expenses for the Holistic Massage Therapist & Asian Healing Arts Program range from $900 to $1,600. Professional Equipment distributor information is available through the school.

BOOKS AND MANUALS

Students are required to purchase books and manuals before the start of each class within their program. The cost of required books and manuals is approximately $600. Additional recommended texts costs are approximately $200.

FIRST AID AND CPR CERTIFICATION

Students must possess a current Standard First Aid & CPR card at the time of graduation. First Aid/CPR classes are offered at local Red Crosses. $45
